This is Hannah's first year in dance. Tonight they had a Christmas performance and here are the videos I caught of her class. For those of you lucky enough to attend the recital in the Spring, this is a preview of how awesome that experience is going to be.

How do you get to the Northpole?
We were riding in the car the other night and Hannah told me how to get to the Northpole. This is what she said.....
Note: I'm trying to post this from my phone so if it looks different that is why.

Hannah's First Day of School!
Here is Hannah on her first day of Kindergarten. She did amazing, but I was a different story. I held it together until she walked off like a big girl and didn't even look back. I just kept telling myself how proud I should be for having such an amazing, independent child.
Here is the pic.
So to continue....the second day wasn't as great. I got a call from the teacher. (This part of the post is really for her when she gets older) Apparently, my child that I brag about for being so sweet, gentle and nurturing, also pushes boys at the water fountain. Not to mention this little boy is not a small boy either. Her side of the story is that he sat on the carpet where she was sitting earlier and wanted to sit again. Didn't end up that great for him.
Other than that, school has been awesome. She is learning lots and having a blast.

Back Track: Snow Day Feb 2010
As everyone knows it has been an unusually cold winter. Hannah got a snow day a week ago and here she is playing in it.
This was also the week we were stricken with the flu, so thankfully we were feeling better on Friday to go out and play a little. It did not stick like last year, but she got to have some fun in it none the less.
Hannah warming up before heading out again. She refused to take her jacket, hat and gloves off.

Mardi Gras 2010
I'm back!
Here are some pics from Mardi Gras 2010.
My cautious, sweet, loving child turns into a mad woman at Mardi Gras. I wish everyone could witness it because you would think its a different child. It's like no fear lives in her.
Hannah and her Zulu Coconut. This is a very big deal to catch a coconut in Zulu. It's hand painted with gold glitter. The Zulu "Z" is in glitter on the other side.
Hannah and Braewyn with their coconuts. Hannah's face pretty well describes at parades.
Hannah and her best buds, Braewyn and Ciel.
Hannah and Mommy
Hannah being for beeds. The mittens did cause some issues for correct bead catching, but Hannah never gave up.
